J.K. Kapur (24 April 1927 in Lahore - 2004) was an Indian filmmaker, producer, social activist and a highly accredited restaurateur. He is the founder-promoter of Copper Chimney, the most successful and well known Indian restaurant chain in India. J.K. Kapur was the Vice-Chairman of the International World Laughter Club, the President of Worli Woods (NGO in Mumbai), Founder-President of the Senior Citizens Helpline and the Chairman of Indo-Japanese Committee to improve relations between India and Japan.
